A Love Song From The Creator

I always enjoy hearing Louis Armstrong sing “What A Wonderful World”

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin’ hands, sayin’ “How do you do?”
They’re really saying “I love you”

I hear babies cryin’, I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more than I’ll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world

Oh yeah!

And I think to myself, what a wonderful God…what a wonderful God.

“Creation was…a love song from the Creator to mankind. In a thousand fields of study, God had coded the music of His creation. One hears the music of God testifying to the beauty of God not only through musical notes, but through genes, and chemicals, and all the mysterious workings of nature.”–Strachan and Sweeney, Jonathan Edwards on Beauty

I want to praise God more and more.  When I hear cardinals and crickets and croaking frogs.  When I see fireflies’ phosphorescent trails.  When I see the sunset back lighting purple clouds.

How does God’s creation move you to praise him?
